Sony Xperia Flashing / Rooting Tutorial - How to root with Sony MobileFlasher

  • Make sure you have correct firmware, Latest and updated tools, USB drivers and enough battery life (70% +)
  • Download and install the flashing tool ( upgrade to the latest version )
  • unzip the firmware (ROM) according to your Xperia device
  • Open the flashing tool and Click FLASH button (upper-left corner, lightning symbol)
  • Choose the bootmode from dialog box --> Flashmode --> OK
  • Find and Load the Xperia firmware file.
  • Pick the loaded firmware and click FLASH button to start the flashing process.
  • Switch off your sony device.
  • Connect the device to PC while pressing and holding the Volume Down button.
  • You will see ADDED message after connecting Xperia device to PC.
  • Flashing process will start and it will take 3- 15 minutes to complete.
  • Disconnect the device from PC and switch it on. !!
