FREE-IPTV: How-To Transcode a Stream with low CPU

In this article we will see a very good and easy way to transcode streams with very low cpu usage.
We will make a transcode profile, so you can easy it anytime you want.

Go to YOUR Panel -> Transcoding Profiles and create a transcode profile like the below one

As you can see we have selected Ultra Fast Preset which is the key for low CPU Usage.

A preset is a collection of options that will provide a certain encoding speed to compression ratio. A slower preset will provide better compression (compression is quality per filesize). This means that, for example, if you target a certain file size or constant bit rate, you will achieve better quality with a slower preset. Similarly, for constant quality encoding, you will simply save bitrate by choosing a slower preset.
In the above transcode profile, we added a 1500 kbps bitrate but of course it's not required. You can put any value that you want there or even leave it blank (in case you just need to encode to different codec)
After creating the transcode profile, simply go to Add/Edit Stream and select the transcode profile.
